What is Gift Money?

Gift Money is a program exclusive for our CardFinans customers that provides them with an opportunity of getting off from TRY 150 TL to TRY 1500 of their purchases in return of their promise to spend.

How Much Gift Money I Can Spend?

Depending on the Bank’s assessment of your limit, you can use Gift Money from TRY 150 to TRY 1,500.

How Do I Use Gift Money?

When you are offered Gift Money on your receipt after a purchase with your CardFinans via a QNB Finansbank POS device, send a message to 2273 by writing HP, hitting the space once, and typing the Gift Money code in your receipt within 3 days after your purchase. Then, you will be included in the program following your confirmation.

Using Gift Money is only possible when our Bank makes an offer regarding to your puchase.

How many months do I have to fulfill my promise to spend?

You have to fulfill your promise to spend within 12 months for a Gift Money of TRY 150-500, and within 18 months for Gift Money above TRY 500. The Gift Money amount that can be consumed within a month is limited to TRY 150.

How can I monitor my promise to spend?

You can see your remaining expenditure commitment in your billing statements, or you can type KALAN and text to 2273.

To fulfill my promise, do I have to spend at the stores where I used Gift Money before?

All expenditures will count as fulfillment of your promise, except advance cash, instant loan, mobile phone credits, money transfers and accumulating accounts.

What happens if I return goods/services that I purchased with Gift Money?

If you return the goods/services earning you Gift Money in whole or in part, the remaining balance covered by your commitment to spend will be reflected in your billing statement as debit.

What happens if I do not fulfill my promise?

Every purchase of TRY 100 closes a Gift Money promise of TRY 1. If there is a balance remaining after deducting the expenditure commitment at the end of the specified period, the remaining Gift Money balance will be reflected on the statement. For example, if you do not fulfill your commitment to spend in return for TRY 50 Gift Money, such TRY 50 will be debited to your card at the end of the term.

Campaign Conditions

  • Only the customers who are offered Gift Money by our Bank can benefit from the campaign.
  • QNB Finansbank consumer credit card holders who make their payments on a regular basis and whose limit is at least TRY 1.875 can benefit from the campaign.
  • To participate in the campaign, a purchase of TRY 150 or above should be made at the contracted merchants of the Gift Money program via a QNB Finansbank POS device. The code on the POS receipt after such purchase should be sent to 2273 by typing HP, hitting the space once, and writing the Gift Money code in the receipt, within 3 days following the transaction. A commitment to spend for the stated amount and period of time should be given. 
  • Only those customers who are offered Gift Money in their POS receipts can participate in the campaign. In accordance with the client-specific evaluation results, the client may be offered Gift Money for all or part of the purchase made.
  • After the participation is confirmed, the Gift Money amount indicated on the receipt will be credited in the first billing statement following confirmation, and in the subsequent billing statements if this is a purchase in installments. 
  • The maximum amount of Gift Money that a client may receive as an offer at a single time is TRY 1.500, and the total of all Gift Money usages with an open balance can not exceed this amount.
  • A 12-month expenditure commitment must be made for Gift Money offers up to TRY 500, whereas a 18-month expenditure commitment must be made for Gift Money usages more than TRY 500.
  • Every purchase of TRY 100 closes a Gift Money promise of TRY 1. If there is a balance remaining after deducting the expenditure commitment at the end of the specified period, the remaining Gift Money balance will be reflected on the statement.
  • The Gift Money amount that can be closed within a month is limited to TRY 150.
  • The commitment to spend only covers the purchases made and will not include advance cash, instant loan, mobile phone credits, money transfers and saving accounts.
  • In case that the purchase earning you Gift Money is returned in whole or in part, your participation will be canceled, and the remaining balance of the expenditure commitment will be reflected on your billing statement.
  • CardFinans and Fix Card Fix holders have the right to use the Gift Money only once. CardFinans Xtra, Private and QNB First credit card holders, on the other hand, may obtain a second right to use Gift Money in case that they fulfill 95% of the expenditure commitment they made in return for Gift Money usage. A new Gift Money will be offered if the whole expenditure commitment made in return for the two Gift Money is realized. One may constantly use the privilege of Gift Money in such a manner that there is 2 open Gift Money usages simultaneously.
  • Supplementary cards can not use Gift Money, but purchases made with the supplementary cards that are linked to the original card making use of Gift Money are included in the expenditure commitment.
  • Commercial purchases may not benefit from Gift Money. Even if they do, the Gift Money amount will be reclaimed. It is forbidden for the customer to consistently use his/her credit card for commercial purposes. In case they do so, the Customer may not benefit from the Gift Money. If the customer's credit card is found to have been used in such a way, the Bank shall have the authority to cancel the card and to withdraw the Gift Money amount without any notice.
  • If your credit card limit is lowered due to irregularity of your payments and you have a remaining balance in your expenditure commitment while your expenditure commitment is still active, the remaining Gift Money balance will be withdrawn.
  • Gift Money may not be used for purchases made with Money Points.
  • Enpara.com and Miles&Smiles QNB Finansbank credit cards are not included in this campaign.
  • The full committed amount to spend should be spent only with the relevant credit card and its supplementary cards registered in the Gift Money program.
  • Gift Money can be canceled via Telephone Banking at 0850 222 0 900, or texting IPTAL to 2273.
  • SMS messages sent to 2273 will be subject to mobile operators’ fees for one SMS.
